Default A Class Act

I took a rod to lamiglass that I broke the tip in the boat with a loose anchor. The rod finish had started to chip off after 14 years of use and abuse and they replaced the top half without blinking an eye because of the finish. I had the same thing happen with several G loomis im6 bass rods several years ago and they would not warranty them as a manufacture defect. My hats off to the people of lamiglass without a customer service dept. like they have your not getting your moneys worth when you purchase their product. I agree 100%

Had a walleye special which isnt a bad one piece rod for throwing spinners at summers, and busted the tip, sent it back, they sent me a catalog and said "pick one" woohoo, 8'6 esprit II was in the mail 4 days later! and this was 5+ years ago.

Gloomis is a good rod, but with the money you spend and the warranty with a Lami...I'll settle for the subtle differences.

I broke a lami. on the hook set on a fine feeling rock, it sounded like a rifle shot and the upper end of my rod left so fast I didn't see it leave and go in the river. I got lucky and got it back. I think back then it was a five year warrenty. I had it longer than that but it was no problem and I was impressed. I have broken probably ten loomis rods over the years and all of them was my fault, closeing the tips in the rod locker is a big culpret and I still haven't had to pay to have one replaced. I haven't delt with loomis sence it changed owner ship but paying $40 bucks to replace a 3 or 4 hundred dollar rod seems like a good deal to me.
