Default Alsea River Shuttle??

Anyone know of a shuttle on the Alsea? Particularly the Mill Creek to Missouri Bend section.

Alsea store *may* do it... it's not always guaranteed. And at their rate of $25 a rig...it may be cheaper just to tell your buddies to follow you over,

I'm sure one of the billion or so cars at the river there would give you a ride back if you asked.. It's good odds.

Take a bike. My mountain bike fits nicely in the back of the drift boat. It is out of the way and when you get done with the drift, hop on it and go get your vehicle. You can also put it down at the take out and lock it up to a tree. If I do that at Missouri Bend I put it up towards the highway so I dont have to try to ride up the step hill.
I think all the times I have gone steelhead fishing, I have never taken a second vehicle or done a shuttle. Save some gas or shuttle money and use it towards another trip.

I have always thumbed it. Don't wait until late in the day, not much for cars. Best bet is to shuttle the truck first. I have done the mountain bike thing a few times as well.
