I even got my hook back!

Fished Boiler Bay this afternoon. I caught five greenling. One of them even had another hook in it- mine, as I had hooked it earlier and broke it off in the kelp. When I cleaned them, two of them had blue meat! Odd. All in all, a nice afternoon. Beautiful skies. Big waves, but the side I was fishing on was sheltered. I also hooked something that was peeling line off of my reel before it came unhooked! I doubt from the feel of it that I would have gotten it up the cliff without the line breaking.

What did you catch them on?

I was using pieces of prawn rolling around on the bottom amid the kelp. It eats up the hooks, but it works well.

Man I was thinking about going over there this weekend............If the rivers keep dropping. May I ask as to what the tide was doing and what time of day (or night) it was?

Thanks, sounds like fun. I think I will have to give it a shot. I am sure that they are good eating if they are related to the Lingcod.

They are excellent eating. The males often have a greenish blue hue to their flesh.

And seems I get off work at 0600hrs. I can and sometimes do seem drunk by 9 in the morning. :shocked:
