Not sure what a side anchor is, but seems like a 3-sided pyramid would work on the back or either side. 4-sided pyramid should work on the sides, back and front too. An animal on the side seems like it wouldn't be very effective. The ole heavy chain might work, but not sure how you'd get it to lay out sideways.

Ok I need an anchor for the back of my drift boat that attaches to the side so I can still have my motor on I have a pyramid anchor just looking for the side mounted anchor system if anyone has one they don't use. Would like to get a used one not new. Hope that clears up what I am looking for.
