Ouch! I'll bet that scanner is toast.

i think my choice to fish the clack is a wise one, the roads to the coast will be very icey wed morning! plus lots of chromers on this side of the hill.

I drove Hwy 6 this morning to the Wilson and hit some black ice just out of Banks. I was on a straight section of road just cruising along at 5:00am and suddenly my truck starting going sideways. This was a straight stretch of road and I was under the speed limit!!! I got it straightend up and slowed down to 45mph. I hit some more black ice near the summitt, same thing just going slow and whooshh, my truck went slightly sideways. Got that corrected and slowed to 35mph.

Well, made it safe but that is freaky stuff.

BE CAREFUL!!

Did put meat into the boat today

Looks like the slick is back. Everytime it clears off a bit, Highway 6 gets slick from Banks to Milepost 13. I wish people would just learn and slow down.

On the Sunday before New Years, I was crossing over 6 around 10:30 in the morning with my son in the motorhome, and we say 5 wrecks with either police or emergency workers present. One guy was being taken out of the car on a backboard, it didn't look good.

Getting an early start over highway 6 always gives me the woolies because you never know when someone will lose it flying around a corner.

Slow down and live longer.
