Default Weighted bobber?

I am new to bobber and jig fishing so am trying different things. Today I tried using a weighted bobber with a jig for sh. Great for casting but not sure if you lose too much sensitivity (the line, not me  ) Anybody have experience with these? lnf

I'm not an expert (just started bob n jig fising last year), but I wouldn't be too concerned with sensitivity when bobber fishing. The bobber will indicate a strike.

I hate the weighted bobbers I don't use them. I like to control my weight.

In most cases you will be happier using unweighted floats. That way you can adjust the weight according to the lure or bait you use under the float. Remember, that you want the smallest float possible for the conditions you are fishing. Small floats go under easier than large ones. Having the float go down is considered a good thing.

P.S. If using a bobber none of this applies.
