Default Stolen Stuff

Last saturday I found that some lowlife had gotten into my barn and made off with some of my stuff. First thing i noticed missing was my Makita mitre chop saw. Then later I noticed my trout tackle box was gone, as was the box I kept all my steelhead stuff in (including about 20 hard to find birdie drifters). The thief can have the saw and the steelhead box, and he can have everything in the trout box (probably a couple hundred bucks worth of stuff) i want that box back!!! it belonged to my dad and he gave it to me. Its an ugly green aligator texture outside with a bumper sticker the kids gave me that says "fish tremble at the sound of my name". It's a long shot but if anyone sees it, get a licence plate or hull number or something. you would be my hero

I'll keep a jaundiced eye peeled. It might show up in a local hock shop.

People don't realize that when they steal things like that they are stealing memories, things that can't be replaced. I had 6 poles and 5 reels stolen a few months ago. One rod and reel that I had for 25 years. It wasn't the value of the outfit that hurt so bad it was the memories of all the fish that I had caught on it over the years. More than likely when they got all the stuff back home and looked at it they probably just threw that one away because of it's looks, but that one was my favorite. It will be an easy one to recognize. It was pure white with a blue handle and I had just rewrapped the eyes with green thread and it had an old ambassador reel on it. It also had a crooked tip on it from my second ex-wife slamming it in the pickup door. Every time I go out fishing I look in every boat.

That burns me up!!!

I too had something stolen right off the porch of my home. A Big cheif smoker while in full use smoking a few weeks ago. If there's one thing I learned it is if you give a thief a chance THEY will take it. Lock up items of value and items that cannot be replaced. It takes seconds for a thief to do their craft and leave you helpless!
Hope you get to recover the box. I too will keep an eye open for it to show up.

What really amazes me is that the tackle box was on the barn floor right next to every rod and reel I own So I am thankful of the things that they didn't take. Thank goodness they didn't look in the boat.  There may be other stuff missing, I guess I won't know till I need something and it's not there

And it's stuff that they can pawn. That's what they target. Too bad the police don't look in the pawn shops for the stuff! Too many riped off items to keep track of they say. I lost $18,000 worth of belongings the day I moved into my new house. All of my guns,cash,X-mas gifts, furs,CD's and players, movies, tools and power tools, jewlery, and most of the things I had inherited from my folks when they passed on. It's the worst feeling in the world once you realize what happened! They came back 60 days later and stole my '77 F-250 right out of my driveway at 10 pm. Not very good luck in the new house! No gun to shoot 'em either!

I'm with ya brother,
seeing the no snag shirts stolen from my porch really burned me too, but they did not have memories like the tackle box. Im sorry to hear about the loss. I'll keep an eye out for it. Check the pawn shops.

getzem...the police in oregon monitor everything that comes and goes into a pawn shop.

It ticks me off when some *(&^(*&%(%^ steals. When caught the government should cut off the crooks finger.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I lost all my work tools out of my truck this year too. They should have a hangmans station in Pioneer courthouse square, with linchings on fridays. Maybe this would deture thieves.
