Default looking for a scanoe or.....

Looking for a small, carriable boat for skinny back waters. One person with a small spaniel. Boat has to be paddleable with a square stern, for small motor. With me shoulder, Im good for only an hour or two of paddling.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Old Town and others make a motor mount bracket for around 75 bucks that allows any canoe to take a trolling motor which opens up your options.

Hello WiskeyJaR,

Two years back I got a Old Town Guide 119 Canoe. This has been a great one person canoe for me. With this canoe and the motor mount bracket you would be set. Just an idea for you. If you have any questions just send me a pm and I will help you out the best I can. Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions folks. The "NuCanoe" sounds interesting.
Has anyone heard of "Lampro" boats? I think they where out of texas.

Thanks again folks,

If the search isn't completely fruitful, let me know. I'll build you one that works.

Thanks for the offer Eric, but I fear me limited budget doesn't allow for a costum build. :/ Do like the looks of the lumberyard skiff.

will PM ya....
