Default WANTED: Avet HX/LX/JX/MXL reels

The quiver was sold with Tailgunner, so I need to restock myself a bit for fishing with buddies that are a little thinner on gear.

Currently have an LX 6/3 2 speed and SX 6:1, and fell in love with the things, so if you are considering moving to a different reel or upgrading to the bigtime Penns/Boss/Accurate gear, let me buy your used Avets.

I have a silver single speed LX in excellent condition w/ box and all accessories that I should really sell but I am having separation anxiety. I used it once since I bought it but as soon as sell it, I will need an Avet in the LX size.

Let me ponder this idea a while.

I really hope you find what you need... to help my anxiety issue.

Good luck.

Have 2 LX's. Both need re-built. Pretty sure it's just bearings as one is now locked up.
$75 each.

$75 is a great deal on the LX. Send it to Avet and for $30, they will fix most of your woes. Don't admit you're not the original owner. Most time is a non-issue. Just a suggestion.

Ehh, I don't mind doing the work myself if it's doable, my only concern on those is galled shafts (then it gets REALLY expensive).

PMed the poster, still waiting to hear back.

I'm all ears if you have tuna/halibut capable rods and reels but they have to meet one critera (like the Avets do)...

Made in USA only.

LAST BUMP Peoples!

I can get cash to you for last minute Christmas stuff, and you can drop off the reels in Salem, so there's no worry about shipping hassles. I've got family coming up this way for Christmas by car, and they can bring them up to me.
