Fishalot -
That's a thought I hadn't considered. Might have to work up a trip. Hmmmm.... How are the tides?
One thing, stay ABOVE the Willamette. It is running majorly brown and the logs are a floatin'. It is higher than it has been for almost a year and all the shore debris has been really coming down today.
If you launch from Fred's or Cathedral, use much caution coming down. It be UUUUGGGGGLLLLY!!

Re: Any Sturgeon fishermen Jan- 1st
I'll be out there as well. Big ugly willamette with lots of stuff in it. Sounds like it's just right for sturgies.
Maybe I better throw the ugly sticks in just in case I need some weight.

When I'm as "seasoned" as you, my boat will do just fine.
