Default Where can I find............

Where can I find a wooden net. I have a fishing buddy and I would like to get him a real nice wooden net. I might get it inscribed and he can use it as an art piece or he can just use it for Salmon and steelhead out of his boat.
He just got a new 24ft Northriver boat and I thought it would be nice if I got him something that is as beautiful as his boat

I've never seen a wooden net large enough to net a salmon or steelhead. You might try Orvis or LL Bean websites; they would have nice wooden trout sized nets.

The only time I have seen a wooden net that was large enough for Steelhead was down on the Elk. We were fishing with a guide, and when we pulled out, one of his friends had a beautiful wooden net, with about a half dozen inlayed wooden pieces. It was about 7 feet long and looked like it belonged in someones den instead on on the river. His boat was also Myrtle wood, and looked like the same level of craftsmanship.
So, how are your woodworking skills?

Thank you, Dawhunt. This is a perfect example of how to give commercial information for a person who is not an ifish sponsor. This effectively provides the information for the person who needs it without giving free advertising. Well done.
