Re: Oregon Ducks
A defense would help.
I can't remember a duck team doing so little with so much.

Re: Oregon Ducks
Just a guess, but I think they'll be looking for a few defensive backs this coming off season.

Re: Oregon Ducks
Can you adjust the image so that you have a picture of platooning quarterbacks? On second thought, Mike's plan today didn't turn out all that well in Seattle.

Hey don't worry........the Dawgs and Cougs can still salvage some respect for the NW.
Let's kick some Boilermaker and Sooner behinds!

Re: Oregon Ducks
The only good to come out of this game, is the debate for the starting QB job!! I think they should have opened this up a long time ago!! Maybe next season will be a better one, OH PLEASE!!!!

Re: Oregon Ducks
Maybe the ducks will catch a clue and stop scheduling pre pac 10 games against teams like cowpie u & podunk state, but i doubt it.
Imagine this team without Ontario Smith!
So much for the "Dynasty" all the web heads on this board have touted.

Everyone has a weak preseason look at the huskers and Miami. We will be back soon enough.

GO COUGS!!
DIE DAWGS DIE !!
As a Duck fan, what can I say, but - I LOVE BASKETBALL !! GO DUCKS!! Beat AZ! (Walton is hurt again - OK!)
How about the way the dog-fans showed up to root for WF and jeer the team from the NW? Love you guys.
Ooops! No fishing content! HEY I don't have a license for 2003 ... I'd better take care of that. Rivers should be blown out for a few days.

Re: Oregon Ducks
Dawgs loose?? Is that what a UO edukayshun does for you? I think the word is "lose".
Well, maybe ONE team from the NW can look good in their bowl game. Ummm.... go Cougs.

Re: Oregon Ducks
how is it this a bash the ducks thread and my loved huskers get a dose of the meds.....shesh......my huskers sucked this year no doubt....but we shall return......as soon as frankie figures out that lord cant throw a lick we'll be ok....
huskers have a new DC coming in from the packers and hopefully will get a good OC and then we might have a chance to compete again
oh yeah our preseason schedule this next year consists of penn st and so miss on the road....call it what u like we have pitt scheduled the next 2 years after that and then a home and home with USC......

Yep, it was an embarrasing but fitting end to a poor year... :depressed:
I am surprised Hogmaster has not unloaded a ton of smack on us Duck fans... I guess he is still hurting from his Beavers loss.
GO COUGS!!! (I can't believe I just said that!)

Re: Oregon Ducks
Yes, I will admit it........... I was at the Seattle (toilet) Bowl. It was ugly and it was bad but I felt a lot better today when I saw that the Huskies got beat by Purdue!!!!!!!!
2003 has got to be a better year? Right????

Re: Oregon Ducks
I just love it when the Dawgs lose---especially when it's Purdue that beats 'em. I hope (for the sake of NW football) that WAZOO does OK tomorrow-----I think they will.

Seeing the Fusky's lose warmed my heart and made the choke job the ducks pulled a little easier to take.

Thanks, but we already saw what OSU had to offer......and it wasn't pretty. Did they set a record for personal fouls in that game?
Unless WSU and USC pull off some big wins tomorrow, the Pac-10 is going to be looking mighty weak.

Re: Oregon Ducks
DanS -
Not even close to a record...
As usual the duck fans have scattered like roaches when the lights come on. Dancin' Barely, I wrote you yesterday that I was wearing green just for you. Well, actually hoping Nonterio would do weel enough to go pro. He looks like enough of a non-factor for it to be a good thing if he comes back now.
Oh, no, if Wetaline and the rest of you and your kittycats don't do it tomorrow we will next be hearing it from Mojo and team Moose Drool about how the Idahooligans from Boise State rule the Northwest!
Mark my words though. Like it or not, USC will win and show the PAC 10 is a quality conference. You read it here first.

Re: Oregon Ducks
Thanks DanS, but I still got this sharp AC pain in the neck LOL.
Your right Wazzu and USC need to win to keep this from being the Lack 10....won't be easy..... but we can do it.
MicroFish, slow down or you'll never make midnight  .....OSU... now thats funny.
GO COUGS !!!

Re: Oregon Ducks
Boy, it sure would've been a lot smarter for the U of O athletic department to take the $ 600,000 + they spent on that stupid poster in times square and spend it on some good old fashioned, under the table green recruiting incentive to attract some REAL talent like dem huskers and dawgs do (not to mention the other 100+ division one football programs)!
One bright spot for you duck fans (and the rest of us).....at least that should be the last anyone sees of Fife !!!
