today was fun............riiiiiight

I woke up this morining and looked out the wondow..... dark and wet..... but hey the coast is probably dry.... [img]graemlins/stupid.gif[/img]
so I went to Three Rivers, just like everyone else in northwestern oregon there was no parking space at the hatchery and i've never seen so many cars parked along the road....
so i went to the mouth of three rivers. the big river didn't look too bad, except that it was BIG, so i decided to go to my favorite hole... lucky me no one was there :grin: so about 11:15 i snag into one of those "rocks" that feel kinda funky.... they jump all over the place and smell like barbecue :grin: and also they are kinda of hard to land because the water is too high and there is no bank to land it on, just grass... but a combination of brains and my soccer skills saved me and i went home with an 11lb chrome bright hen....
now instead of going to bed, i have to go lurk on Amerman's page , so i can cure the eggs but it was all worth it....

Wow im impressed if you caught fish in the turmoil that river probably was........guess we are going to have to hook up for fishing afterall :smile: Maybe when the Alsea gets back into shape.
