Good place to try for a camera flash is a Goodwill or a used camera store. They are usually pretty inexpensive. Probably should pick one up the next time I see one.

I have found that the new LED lights work really well for charging your corkies without the blinding flash. I got a LED headlamp at GI Joes and it will charge them in about 2-3 seconds.

LED's also give off a nice white light that is easy on the eyes and batteries. My halogen headlamp has been retired. At $35 bucks it wasn't really cheap but with the savings in batteries it will pay for itself in less than a year!!

Even the little keychain LEDs work pretty well.

James,
Do a search on the net for UV LED'S. You can find a ultra violet flashlight that will charge the glow way better than anything talked about so far. You are talking about the new glow technology not the old stuff right? I won't be able to fish with ya for the challenge. I have to work. Jake and I just got done whupping on some perch. Between the two of us we brought home over 100. Momma bought me a new electric fillet knife. Ever since I tried to carve that 41 inch Steely of yours , the old one was never the same!

Gi-joes $14.99

I dont know how glow corkies work but,
This thing works great for the times when you have to move down and land a fish. Then when you walk back to your spot, there are 2 guys that took it over. You just pull this thing out and flash them tell they move on.

I read a post on steelheader.net about an inexpensive led charger type thing. Go there and do a search and it should come up. I think the price was 12.95. If I knew more about how to make this computer thingy work, I would've given ya a link. Good Luck.
