Default Salmon River near Lincoln City

Anyone fish the Salmon River out of Lincoln City for Steelies? It is a short run from Salem and wonder if I may be missing anything over there?

It gets a small run of wild fish that holds up into March. Used to be real good for hatchery fish back in the day when they planted it. I have seen some large fish, won't take a lot of pressure. Typically a real good day is a couple of fish. Good luck.

If memory serves it got about 100 steelies for the whole winter last season. It is in the ifish archives.
