Default Water Skeeter \'Double Take II\' pontoon??

To continue the 'pontoon thread'...

Has anyone used or looked at the "Double Take II" Waterskeeter pontoon boat? I've only seen the pics and it seems kinda cool. It's a package deal of two, complete 8-foot pontoon boats (seems like a nice size for lakes). With the unique feature that they can be zipped together and the frames arranged to make a 13.5' two person craft, with standup casting brace. (pics at waterskeeter.com) Sale-priced at $1350.

Seems like a great option for easy floats and overnights (lower McKenzie, Willamette, John Day, Bow,).

I would also like to hear your opinions on the Waterskeeter brand in general.

There's been such a proliferation of these boats it's tough to figure out what's good and what s*cks?

So what do y'all think of the Double Take II, a possibly really cool craft or a compromised-design piece 'o krap?

I have been looking for a single and have looked at the waterskeeter brand. For some reason, they have less capacity than the others. I think it has to do with tube diameter. The double take does look cool though.
