The garage cleaning continues...
Rod 1 is a LCI "Excelon" Lever Styx 30-80 LB line class with a Penn International II 20 T reel spooled with 80 LB Mono. This is an fantastic tuna rod, I fished it here for albacore and down south for both striped marlin and sailfish. This was my personal (and favorite) trolling rod for saltwater pelagics. Both rod and reel are in very good condition, with the exception that the rod needs a new tip eye (should be less than $10 bucks at Ollie Damons). $475
Rod 2 is a LCE Excelon Lever Styx 50-120 LB line class with a Diawa Sealine X 50 HV reel spooled with 400 YDS of 100 LB Tuff Line. This is a fantastic halibut setup, I used it both offshore Oregon and nearshore SE & SC Alaska for Butt's up to 120 LBS in up to 700 ft of water. It's nicly balanced light weight and has a high speed 4.9:1 gear ratio. Both rod and reel in good condition, the orignal tip eye has been replaced on the rod. $350
When I sold the saltwater boat(s) I used to own I kept these two rods for riding along on other peoples boats, but they havent gotten used in the last 4-5 years. Hate to see them go, but would be better with someone that will appriciate them. The rods are LCI (Loomis Composite International) graphite handcrafted in Woodland, Washington, which was the forerunner to todays G.Loomis company.
