Default Another newbie

Hello everyone. Being a newbie to ifish, I thought it would be proper to give you some background info on steel-o-matic. Well, to make a long story short, I grew up on the coast and was a firefighter for Tillamook Fire Rescue for two years. I think the best part of living on the coast was the Wilson River. The Wilson always provided me with the action and success every fisherman wants. I now live in Beaverton and am trying to learn the ropes and strategies to successful fishing on the Clackamas.

I've been fishing the Clackamas now for about a year and am proud to say I hooked my first three steelies yesterday. One being an 8 lb, another 12 and the last 17 lbs. Oh, what excitement it was. My buddy and I drifted from Carver to Safeway and that was the only action that happened in our boat. My point, no action for my buddy.

Well, enough boredom for now, never been good at storytelling but I think this gives a good background on myself and I look forward to meeting new fellow ifish fishermen.

I have been lazy about welcoming new ifishers.

WELCOME!-- And a broad welcome to all new ifishers!

I haven't caught any steelhead this fall. :depressed: :depressed: :depressed:

OK, everyone, all together now....
