Default Alsea Report

I got in an hour of bank fishing on the Alsea on Friday w/ now bites. I drifted eggs and fished jiggs. I moved to the North Fork and got two hookups at Clemens park. I lost a steelhead and then managed to land a choho on a jig. Can you believe he hit a jig and the steelhead hit eggs! That's rare in my book. I drove by the hatchery and there were a lot of people crowded around the hatchery whole but I didn't stop for any reports.

Weird! I hooked and released about a 6# dark coho that hadn't spawned on the NF last week also. It took a multi-colored corky with chartreuse yarn. Saw a lot of spawning chinook which was great too! A fun place to fish for me over the years.
