Default Wilson River tomorrow HMMMMMMMM

Hello all ifishers , as i sit in my dual use room at my fishing & com****r desk as im sure a few of you are doing the same. i ponder the thought on how busy it will be tomorrow on the wilson & other coastal rivers.. wonder what river i should try first & what im gonna use hmmmmmmm pink worms? yeah sounds good, blue fox spinner yeah that could work , hmmmmmmm maybe some Glo bugs that i tie. problay a good bet too , maybe a pearl corkie with alittle yarn , shrimp oil, hell yeah .. alittle roe could help me to hook a nice winter freight train.. It makes me wonder if i will hook 1, 2 or 5 , one thing is for sure.. the reality of day is that ill be fishing & thats alot better than working or anything eles.. Hooking a fresh fish will be a bonus.. good luck to all tomorrow , Steelhead1

Start at the river furthest away from the easy access hwy, #6 that is.

EEEEVVVVVERYYBOOOOODDDYYYY likes to dump in the wilson, sssoooooo go further and enjoy the peace.

I like to fish in un-crowded waters with some fish, then crowded water with lots of fish.

Tough decision? I DON"T THINK SO!

I fished it today from about 1:30 till dark. The reports I heard were not good. The guide shop only knew of 2 on the Kilchis and 3 on the Wilson. I spoke to someone else who said there were 15-20 boats at Duyck's and only a handful of fish caught. I didn't believe it until we arrived at Duyck's at 2:30 and there was no one there. We fished it hard for 2 hours and got 2 nice steelhead hens. The first I thought was a trout bite, but turned out to be a 6 lb hen. The second took it pretty good, but was a twin to the first at 6 lbs. Saw 2 others caught.... pretty slow considering my high expectations!!!! You couldn't pay me enough to fish there tomorrow. Good luck....

My dad and I hit the Wilson today with Marty Peterson. We worked from the guideshop down twice with baitdivers and we managed to get one small hen.

Yeah, the Wilson is not even fishable!! Even if you do find a fish it will only be the size of a fair Bass! You would be better off heading towards the Sandy or the Clackamas... I even hear the Deschutes is doing pretty well!

Good luck tomorrow every one! Where ever you go!
