The reason we fish (story)

I was talking to my buddy about the reasons we fish. Everyone has there own reason but we fish because our wifes want us to :grin: . She loves the outdoors, being on the water, and catching fish. I only do it for her, why else would we freeze our tails off, and spend endless hours burning gas and losing tackle. We do it for them.
As I sit my $$$$$$$$$ dallor boat today instead of getting the honey dew list that has grown well beyond the legal size limit of a Sturgeon. And have lost enough tackle to pay the taxes, or buy her a diamond ring for X-mas next week. We just want you to know we do only for you.
Oh buy the way Honey if you read this while your work, and knowing you love the outdoors sooooo much. And it's been awhile since you've been out (1995 I believe) Just remember I only fish because you want me to. And as the song goes, I'll be home for Christmas [img]graemlins/hearton.gif[/img]

I fish because my wife wants me too, also. The only difference
is that the reason my wife wants me to fish is so that I'll leave
her alone to do the things *she* wants to do. Kinda works out
pretty well for both of us! :grin: :grin: :grin:

I guess I am pretty lucky. My wife really likes going and is usually on the river with me about 70 percent of the time. She is patient and can put a hurtin on the sturgies. She really loves the fall nook thing on the CR. She likes to sit in the sun reading a book waiting for that green/blue wobbler to start dancing Man I can't wait till next September
