ATTENTION: there was a massive spill of rotenone in the Clackamas and will be void of all species for the next 3 years. Best bet is to take the short drive to the coast where the fishing should be fabulous. Especially on Jan 11th . Just kidding. Fishing the clack tomorrow with Wayne Priddy. I'll let you know how we did.

His name is Wayne Priddy ! But with the way they hand out guide stickers these days I could be mistaken.
So far everyone can spell SMITH. At the bank they just smile when I deposit those sogy unreadable checks. Thanks Wells Fargo.

Steve - I take that you mean that there could be a W. Pritty out there fishing the Clack due to the plethora of new guides and not that Wayne has some how not earned his stripes (or sticker, as the case may be). Just trying to avoid a misunderstanding.

I have seen Mr. Priddy's results and believe him to be a journeyman. I have also fished with you, Steve. We got fish on that trip as well.

If Wayne Priddy can't get you into fish, then there aren't any fish in the river.

Let us know how it goes.

*edited after positive definition of journeyman was presented.

A journeyman is an artisan or a craftsman; a skilled worker who practices a particular trade.

I don't believe the term was meant as anything but a compliment.

BTW, I've got the geek thing going on, too.

Best,
