Default Boat only auction at Copart

If any members are bidding on COPART on a 1992 Alumaweld BOAT ONLY STOP BIDDING I HAVE THE TRAILER for it.. I a trying to buy it back and remate the trailer to the hull to resell as a package... THE HIGHER IT GETS BID UP TO THE MORE IT COSTS TO BUY WITH THE TRAILER!!!!

the trailer was undammaged in the theft and the insurance didnt total out the trailer and the trailer sits empty in my yard....

its 2000 as it sits now. if someone wants the boat fine... but why have to look for a trailer... when its sitting here...

Just FYI to the membership who may have a copart account

its going up for sale again with the trailer as soon as it sits back on it..

stolen and stripped... theft recovery. insurnace paid out, previous owner has me storing the traler...

boat was not physically damaged other than all the gear was taken off of it.. and i mean ALL of it.....

so rather than bidding things up if someone wants it... why not get it with a trailer and the kicker that wasnt on it when it was stolen... versus having to track everything down...

Is this a clever plan to get the boat you're bidding on cheaper?

I don't get it. An auction is an auction trailer or not.

Can't the boat be towed on a different trailer?

You've probably brought a whole lot more attention to this by posting a thread about the auction.

Boats tend to fit on more than just the original trailer.

true story.. but if the original one that happens to be a factory alumaweld trailer (not rogue) in 5 hours will be mated to it for a few hundred more, why have to look for a new trailer and have to fit it to the boat... just thought... and damn right i want it cheaper

no, i ctually hve the parts in question taking up space nd would rather someone get the full pckage and them add a new big engine and rigging to it than be stuck with useless items in my garage taking up room... i have zero use for an 18 ft empty trailer, and a 15 hp merc 2 stroke kicker... that came off the boat.... why not clean out my garage and sell it as a set with the boat that it matches to from the day the boat left the dealer new....

I've got an empty trailer, big motor and kicker sitting in the garage. All I need is a boat. Thanks for the heads up.

Edit: BDB beat me to it.

It's in the line up to be bid on now. I don't think we'll be able to see the purchase price unless you go to the live bid area for that location (north Portland). I can't get on during work. I bid for a car a month back and had to take my laptop to a free wifi in order to bid.

It is a pure bid so it will sell today. Anything over $1,000 and you'll need to have a deposit on hand with CoParts which you can do online with a CC. You'll need to leave at least 10% of the yet to be determined sales price.

I gave it the harry eyeball, looks very similiar to my 18' 1985 Alumaweld only mine has a few extras like tiedowns, a floor, fuel vent, anchor nest, rod holders, paint, console, Seats, FF, trailer, motors, and mojo lol!!

Anyone know the legnth of this one?

All that aside I couldnt make the $ make sense.

$2500 Boat
$1000 Aluminum Floor
$1500 Trailer
$1000 Paint
$1000 Misc (electrical, FF, Fuel Lines, Water Separator, Bilge.......)
$15,000 New Motors
----------------------
$21,000 + 100 manhours and a mad wife!

Looks like fun for someone!
