Default Rag Making Tip

Hey folks, with all the buzz about rag making I thought I'd toss in my 2c. Seems like you all are having a hard time finding backer-rod for your lures. Dont worry.....try something I've used with great success: foam earplugs. They come in many colors and float like a champ!

ok, they are not as cheap on a per lure basis, but when in a bind.....

ps- they catch fish too!

Now that's a thought! I've got several unopened sets of orange colored earplugs that would work great. I'll have to check that out! It also dawned on me that I've got some white packing material that's made of the same closed cell foam as the backer rod. Also have a sheet of it colored pink, that should work too.

Good idea half canuck. We have the yellow ear plugs here at work and might have orange and green. I'll have to do a little shopping on my next break.
