You could fish and work.
I was thinking, if you had a small shed on the bank, you could plunk-fish for steelhead (like the Meldrum Bar folks do), and then sit in the shed working from a laptop, while waiting for the dinner bell to ring.

Is there not a way to fish/float from the infamous "trampoline"? If your office is looking out towards all that green steelie water, you should be a plunking! Got a stake/rodholder? You GO Girl!!!!!

Jennie,
If you dont get out there and cast a line I will be disapointed. If I had known that the river was going to look that good today I would have driven down there to fish with you. Hook one, or two, or three, or???

She's asking US whether she should go fishing? I think she knew what that answer was going to be.

If we have to be your scapegoat for why you're fishing then we'll take the burdon for you.

Fish. One rule of thumb. If your bait is out past your rod tip, you're fishing too far out.

A cat came down, and he had nutting.
I fished for a while. Used three ounces of weight, and didn't want to use more on that rod. :depressed:

Nothing. Nada... Too much current right now for this little river.

It would be one of two methods. The "p" methods.

Plunk or plug.

I'd rather plug.

BILL? Get out the drift boat!

No bobber and jig? Maybe a 3/8 ounce jig would work in those conditions?

Of course I'm just guessing from the photos.

Default The Kilchis River 12/16... What would you do?

Lots of water....

Today, the water is green, and beautiful, but too much of it.
What would you do?
A. Work and think not about the water.
B. Work, and think about the water a lot.
C. Get the heck out of the house and just fish, regardless!

It can be a real pain trying to work with this staring at you outside your bedroom deck:

ARGH! Come on, Kilchis, Let's go Fishin!

River looks plenty fishable. Right behind the infamous trampoline looks like a good spot just fish of the edge of the heavy current.
