Default Sticky Scents

I want to make up some Sticky Scents of my own. Want to combine liguid scent in something that will mix well with the juice of choice ( ie: Shrimp Oil, etc) and stick to a plug or yarn. I was thinking about Vasaline. I know it's a petroleum product. Does that matter? Has anyone used Vasaline? Is there something better and clearish in apperance that someone has used?

I answered this post myself to get it back to top. It went down the page so fast I think nobody saw it. But then maybe it's a dumb question?

Ive never made my own but I think some people use Karo syrup.

You may want to run a search as I remember some good stuff awhile back.

Let me know how it turns out. Might give it a go also!

Here's a recipe.

Scroll down to the bottom to find the talk on vaseline.

I have never tried it, but I wonder if propylene glycol would work. It's basically an alcohol that is heavier than water, kind of syrupy, colorless, nearly odorless, and FDA approved to put in your ice cream and hand lotion.
It dissolves oil and water. As such it would help create a oil and water emulsion (ie dissolve your scented oils into the water), making a scent trail instead of letting oils float to the top.
Available at your local pharmacy.

Any thoughts?
