OPEN BOAT TOP?

CALL ME A SISSY, BUT I NEED A TOP FOR MY SCOUT,I CANT TAKE ANY MORE. IM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IT WOULD LOOK LIKE PICS WOULD BE GREAT,IDEAS?

Here's the link to the top I put on my open Willie last summer.

Used it twice in the wind and rain this fall and loved it. The top I mean..

Tilla, that's enough to make a lot of people jealous.

NR 22, I made it 56" tall so I could see over it when running. I can also see through it because we wanted lotsa windows in it. It is also real good with the headroom while sitting in the seats.

I am 6'4" so no problem looking over the top. But, before I used it I was worried that I built it a little to tall. Not a problem.

We also wanted at least 8' of open fishing room in the rear so we just made the top long enough to accomodate that. If your boat is 22' you could build a little longer one and still get the 8' in the stern for fishing room.


TH had a good looking top on his boat that we got the idea from but his was not a fold down like ours is. You could probably find that one on a search. We keep ours folded down and have only used it twice. Takes about 15 minutes to put it all together.

I have a 21 scout and spent alote of time to figure out what I wanted in my top. it is 46in form floor to top and slopes to the front of the boat . it has aprox 65in from tiller to back drop.
the front and backdrop are made in three parts for easy removeal and storage. I'm 5.9 and needed a lower lop height to be able to see over.
