Default Trinity River Water

Here is a story about a big problem with the Klamath system.

Good article, Straydog, thanks for posting it.

I'm at a loss to say how I feel. We hash it and thrash it, but we don't seem to be able to *do* anything about it. I guess the thing to do right now is just don't give up.

Interesting article - but it dodged direct reference to the Trinity diversion's part in the fishkill of a couple months ago.

More Pultizer Prize winning reportage - not.

GSA,

First the complaints were that it was all about the Klamath.

Let's be happy the Central Valley issue is getting some much needed attention rather than complain that they aren't still beating dead fish from a couple of months ago..... I think the press covered the dead fish issue pretty thoroughly.

Further, realize I just happened across this one article on one day, there may have been others that focused, again, on dead fish.

You are a tough guy to please!

Skein,

Here is a quote from Calvin Coolidge that has inspired me when the issue, whatever it may happened to be at the time, seemed hopeless.....

"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genious will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."

Trust me, as a commissioned salesman and one active in fish politics, I can think of few words that hold more truth than those.
