Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
OK, there is another team to announce:
Team Stealth Dogs
We ain't tellin' where were fishin'
But the rest of you'll be wishin'!
Captain: Flatfish - Mark and the I know what a steelhed is and I'm gonna hunt'em up dog
Front Seater - Hogmaster - Gary, leaving the Wonderdog at home because there is no smelt on this run.
Front Seater - Redbull - Joby and the stories about my sock eating dog are not fit for publication on a family website.
We are not disclosing where we are going, how we are fishing or even which day. But if you are out and see Elk and Black Choppers, you may be close...
However, the SS Hog Heaven with the Hogmaster as Captain may just be a late entrant the other day. If so, I may be recruiting a few victims who want to risk becoming story fodder. Keep your options open boys and girls!

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
Mark (flatfish) say it ain't so. Make sure to bring the yellow pages for Mr vertically challenged to reach the rod holder and pick up a couple sets of earplugs (second one in case you loose the first) as the beaverDUNG is gonna flow (that's BS). You might want to bring the attack dog in case he (the beav) gets outa line.
PS. Pete, how about "senior citizen allstars",
ooopps I guess Tracy ain't quite old enough yet.
Darn filter doesn't like **** ....

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
OK put team "Mature" in for both days on the Alsea. Do we have to show you young guys how to catch Steelhead TOO? We already kicked your butts in the Sturgeon challenge so guess we will go to our favorite spot if River is below 4.3 could have pictures of many fish to post

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
Wiz,
I know yer jealous, but why didn't team Stealth Dogs get a smily like the rest of the teams. :depressed:
And Mark CAN catch fish. He just didn't want to make you feel bad!
Maybe there's a golf course where we are fishing. We'll be warmed up for it!
Question: Name two movie stars and a dog
Hmmmm... For a moment there I thought I noticed a cascading flow of duck poo in the area... I'll sit low in the boat and bring a periscope!
Answer: Rin Tin Tin, Lassie and Team Silent But Deadly.

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
Netron, We thought of a couple names today. "Team Gizmo (the dog)" or else the RHB's Whch stands for the "Red Headed B****'s" but Pete and Gizmo wouldn't fit. But they would fit they Really Hairless Boys or RHB's

Hey Wiz,
I noticed your sidekick Uglygreen decided to not join forces with you for this event. Did skunktown make him find another hobby?
When was the last time you missed a bobber down? I'm sure it was on the Zipperlip in September, right?

Wiz, you gotta a great team if it was a pie eating contest. With all the crow feathers that have gone down your teams throats lately, pie would go down easy. I could stay home and land as many fish as you guys will.

team ugly eastsider:
sticks: doug (ron may fill in if needed)
front seaters: husker ron and son
location: to be determined at a time closer to the event
tentatively we're the odds-on favorite for the baton for the simple fact that i haven't a clue what i'm doing. hopefully, ron can get us into fish. c'mon husker!

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
Hey Madwizerd...
It wasn't that YOU saw how I performed, it was that I saw how YOU performed as team leader.
Naw seriously, I would fish with you any day. I just couldn't let you get away with that.

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
MadWizerd, you can add the third name to team #7 for the 11th. Teammate #3 is Donny.
We'll just leave his last name out for now.... Team name to follow....

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
Wiz I don't know what Spooled is crowing about. I've fished with him once and we were skunked. He was on the South Santiam floatilla and did get lucky. He had the first spot at the launch and rowed out and ran out his divers and got a nice pod of fish. He's a clack man and more than likely doesn't like his chances with the other 500 sleds fishing there. Or maybe it's the competion with Team Silent but Deadly sneaking out to put the hurt on lots of steelie lips. I see BOE talking about fishing but don't see him teamed up yet?

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
Steve I have tried to post who my fishing team-mate is and just cant get my fingers to spell it out. :depressed: :depressed:
We cant even agree on a team name :depressed: :depressed:
I cant wait till fish day when I am side drifting from the boat while he is pulling plugs. :depressed: :depressed:
I figure a 12 fish day ought to win it for us. Now if both end up on the same river in the same boat we got a shot at it.

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
Madwizerd,
Are 2 person teams OK for this event? We seem to be out of luck on two teams I was hoping to apart of. So I will be forming a 2 person team in my boat.

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
Alright!!!! My "Motion Marine" Booster seat arrived for the front of my drift boat!
Now I can announce my partner since you will be able see him as he now gets to look over the gunnel.
BOE is joining me in my boat, he claims he can single handedly whip you ALL with one shrimp tail and a dull hook, strung up with 6 pound line, so I am set to WIN it all. I think he is only joining me because there is a 2 person limit, and somebody else that can catch fish would just slow him down.
TEAM CRACKER-JACK ...guess who the cracker is

Re: "Steelhead challenge" team line ups
Gus, what happened to "team dead meat" and I wasnt talking about any dead fish
Be sure and get that booster seat tied down, I wouldnt want it to slip off that high front seat. Quite the fall
Has Intel got that chip designed for my fishing rods yet? I wanted it by this weekend so I could do some field testing and programming. Maybe you could get the one out of Steven Hawkins wheelchair, I think it would work well in the boat.
