Default HOGGEMIN\'S story

Well I am not a good story teller but here goes. My buddy John asked if I wanted to go Steelheadin at the mouth of the Deschutes, I said yes but never fished for steelhead other than at Warrendale or Tanner creek off the bank. Well John is very competive fisherman and said we probably would limit out but as It turned out I cought my first Steelhead a 32" bright beast it was a hatchery one to boot. John cought nothing, On our second trip up there we had 3 guys fishing. It was real rough takin on water over the stern on our troll, but no biggie thats what a bilge pump is for. well by days end John had 0 fish, Larry caught a nice wild one and Hogg had a nice 28" hatchery Steelhead. WOW nothing to this Steelheadin, So we went up to the Johnday arm last Thur/ Fri John finally cought 2 wild fish but HOGG caught 3 hatchery steelhead a little off color but nice fish with one measuring 35". Is this just beginers luck, or are the fish Gods with me finally.

Welcome Hoggemin. Now that the fish Gods have smiled on you. Fishermans, GI Joes and any and all tackle shops will consider you a blessed individual as you try and cope with your new 'ADDICTION'. Congrats on the fish by the way.
