Well, when we first got to Waldport today, I was a little apprehensive. :shocked: But we threw caution to the wind (no I mean we really threw a guy named Caution in to the wind that was blowing about 20mph) and braved it out to the wall. It was a little rough but after the first few blasts over the bow it wasn't that bad...really.

Plus the thoughts of all those sea spiders drove us on like bugged-eyed gold diggers. :grin:
Once we got out to the jaws we crossed over to the south side and hit our honey hole (about the end of the sea wall) and two hours later we were once again limited and heading home. [img]graemlins/applause.gif[/img]

If you get over there, just east of the Port is McKinley's Marina. They have a nice little tackle shop, rent boats, and cook crabs for $3.60 a dozen. my wife likes that the crabs are sea spiders are now coming home cooked and cleaned. [img]graemlins/applause.gif[/img] Who knows? Maybe Xmas will come early for me.
