Default Back to Back Limits, Wahoo!

Well, when we first got to Waldport today, I was a little apprehensive. But we threw caution to the wind (no I mean we really threw a guy named Caution in to the wind that was blowing about 20mph) and braved it out to the wall. It was a little rough but after the first few blasts over the bow it wasn't that bad...really. Plus the thoughts of all those sea spiders drove us on like bugged-eyed gold diggers.

Once we got out to the jaws we crossed over to the south side and hit our honey hole (about the end of the sea wall) and two hours later we were once again limited and heading home.

Yes, we were only boat out there!

If you get over there, just east of the Port is McKinley's Marina. They have a nice little tackle shop, rent boats, and cook crabs for $3.60 a dozen. my wife likes that the crabs are sea spiders are now coming home cooked and cleaned. A race that can't sit still,
So they break the hearts of kith and kin,
And roam the world at will"

Thanks Wiz!

I was beginning to wonder if anyone else read my posts.

As a side note. My wife and I are really interested in the Yellow Taxi. She is behind me on it due to its family friendly use factors.

However, the state has frozen all positions (new hires and unfortunately in my case those open for promotion). It will change soon but right now I am in a holding pattern.

Still, I feel you have the best value out there and I have looked HARD!

If you ever want to trade a trip on the North Santiam (in my Willie) I'd love to fish out of the Taxi once.

Lo
