Default Low water boat parking

When drifting the extremely low Nestucca on Sat. my two fishin partners and I came across a man and his son who were pulling plugs in a narrow section of the river. This was not to much of a problem knowing there is not much water and we did get by without dragging. However later we did go by them again and there boat was parked in the middle of a deep drift hole on the bank with no one in it . Pretty much closed this hole to all , a deep section is hard to come by , but he got there first and i dont own the river, right. Finally we met them again anchored up at the buttom of a short ,narrow riffle with a sharp left turn right at the bottom. No room for a boat to get by without plowing through the tree and getting hung up there next to them. We politely expressed that things were to tight to be parked there , he did not agree , and we went down . We watched other boats take the same route as us and this guy still did not move . He wasnt' catchin any fish there so I am left to assume that this guy is just an @$$ . I hope that his son learned a lesson that day!!! I also hope that he retires his fishing career if he can't share passage to the river below him

what did the boat look like... I ran into a father son combo there a couple weeks ago that parked in front of me while i was plugging, they anchored about 120 feet below me after passing by. and I saw them do it again to somebody else... I was very polite and said I thought anchoring below somebody while they were plugging a drift wasn't right and that is what I had learned.... he grumble and said its a big river.

I don't know why people anchor there boats in the middle of a small river. They should anchor there boats on the edge of the river then people can get by without causing problems. If you are plugging and you come up on a boat you stop plugging and pass next to there boat. This is how courteous people do it.
