Default Smith River Steelhead

Hello All,

I live in Veneta, a small town just west of Eugene. Years ago I used to fish the Smith River for Steelhead. Back then they had somewhat of a hatchery run. Does anyone know if they still support a run of hatchery steelhead in the Smith? I used to love fishing that river with baitdivers and shrimp. Thanks

Don't think there are any more releases of hatchery steelhead in the Smith but a pretty good number of wild fish. A little early now but will only get better.
