New to ifish
Hello to you all. I guess it's time to introduce myself and share a fishing story. I'm 44 years old and been fishin for most of those years. My favorite quarry is the Chinook salmon. Mainly on the Umpqua for springers. My story happened on May 31st 2002. At that time I was in Cleaveland OH fishing for the catch of my life who is now my wife. I left Claeveland at 9:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m. OR time. My folks picked me up at Eugene around 2:00 p.m. We headed for the river and were in the boat by 4:00. By 5:00 we were anchored with our riggin in the water. At 5:30 my rod went down. At 6:00 I had my biggest springer yet. Travaling 3000 miles in 12 hrs we put a 39 pounder in the boat.
I would attach a picture if I knew how.
