Default Gunwale Guard???

Does anyone out there know where I can find some of the rubber used for gunwale guards and how much it costs? Hate it when my rods slide down the bare metal.

Thanks, PM me if names/businesses can't be expressed in the post.

Steven's marine sells it by the foot, between 2.50 and $3...Go to the parts section. Oh, I see you live in Corvallis. If S. River Marine is still in business, they might carry it.

Try Willie Boats . Other wise, I'd call the boat's manufacturer.

Thanks for the info, the boat was originally built by a partner of Willie Illingworth who later departed to build his own line of boats before contracting an eye disease which caused the loss of most of his sight, or so I've been told. The dimensions and build of the boat mimic a Willie.

It was then created into a Pro Motion Products demo boat and re-outfitted with all the diamond deck, bench seats, sliding swivel seat tracks, anchor nests, adjustable rod holders, etc. that they build. My only peeve with it is the lack of Gunwale Guards.
