Question H&R Trigger Job

Does anyone know a smith that can do a Good trigger job on an H&R single shot?

A friend of mine had one. He contacted the manufacture and the sent him a kit and instructions to do it himself.

I've done a couple. Had to make a stoning fixture to do it though.
I wrote up some notes in my notebook. I can help you if you like.
Mine ended up about 2lbs if I recall.
Bring it up next time your up this way. We'll slick it up on the spot.

Don't remember his name,but i had one done in albany several years ago,did a great job.

I have a stainless one in .223 that had a terrible trigger. I asked around and ended up sending it back to H&R and had it back in 2 weeks - it's still 3 lbs now, but much better than the 8 or 9 that it was before - and, it was free.

I may have it sent to h&r to get rebarreled so I will check to see what they can do with the trigger.
