Default Farmers to Cloverdale

In light of Stew's recent post "Near tragedy on the Kilchis" I thought I'd better make this post. I'm planning on floating Farmers to Cloverdale on the Nestucca sometime in the next couple of weeks. I'm average on the oars and have never done this float before. I got some good information about it last year in this thread.

My questions are:
1. Has there been any significant changes to the river making it more dangerous?

2. Are there any trouble spots or islands that I need to around on a certain side (where it isn't obvious)?

Every new float I've done in the past, I've simply made a phone call to the local tackle shop and/or made a post on ifish.

3. Am I crazy?

For the most part you could go to sleep and make through. The only getcha is that there are a couple of islands, when you get to them go down the right side. Hopefully that helps. Good luck.

Just floated it 2 days ago. Piece of cake. RichH was right. Go right at the islands.

There are a fair amount of metalheads around Three Rivers. Also a fair amount of pressure.

Thanks. I wasn't too worried. Just thought I'd better check.
