This may help the healing by sharing my pain, my 20 year old son Tyler died in a single vehicle roll over July 9th 2011, he is our youngest, our baby, we did so much togeather, hunted, fished, camped, we enjoyed the outdoors, I miss him soo much,I hope noone else ever feels this pain, I got a tattoo is his memory which is one he wanted to get when we got a bull this year in Northside unit, I hope the pic uploads, I have a pic of Tyler and my other son in high cascade unit, Tyler is on the right.

I'm so sorry. I have no words that can possibly soften the pain or help you feel better. As a parent, I can't even imagine.

Obviously you were a good dad. I hope you find some solace in that, at least.
.
I'll never understand why God has these plans but its not for us to question. I hear talking about it is good. Keep in touch with God and with your pastor/minister of your church. Both will help you get through it as best you can.

Again, I'm so very, very sorry and sad to hear this.

I want to sincerely thank you all for your concern, thoughts and prayers, me just telling of our loss to strangers helps the hole we have in our hearts, never hearing my son say "hey dad" makes me cry, I think some of you can feel what I mean, again thank you

Dear Stingray,

My sincerest condolence's on the loss of your son. I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling and believe that your reaching out to others will help begin the process of healing. Cherish the memories. God bless you and your family members.

Sincerely,
Dan

I can certainly relate to your loss and you are in my prayers. Six years ago I also lost my youngest son in a single vehicle roll over accident and I also have pictures of him on the same hunt you posted. I don't know how my wife and I would have gotten through it without each other and the support of family and friends. Now it is my turn to give some support and just know that we all care. Ron

So sorry to hear that Bro! Tattoos were a way I used to deal with my dads death when I was a kid. People will ask about it I get to share my grief and memories once more. I think it helps me and I know it will help you.

Friends, Family and forum support has helped but some days the hole and pain overcome.

I can truly rlate to your feelings. I lost my second son this July 29th in a logging accident, he was the second son lost of three boys. My youngest son died at age 29 in 2002. The level of pain is sometimes so deep one wonders if you can handle it but I have learned to focus on all the good memories we shared and to remember I have still another son and wife to build memories with. I hope you can also find some relief by trying to continue recalling the best of the days you shared. It is the only way I can hold on at times. I wish you the strength to help overcome your grief. My youngest has been gone 9 years and I doubt a day ever went by that I didn't think of him many times. Losing my second son brought it all back fresh and I had to really focus on how we are all here only temporarily and another life awaits us. Although the pain never goes away it does gradually become more bearable. Share your grief with your family and try to live more involved with those around you is all I can offer besides my deepest sorrow for your family.

I am sorry for your loss. I too have lost my little girl, I can't believe it but over 5 years ago. There isn't a day that some thought of her goes through my head. If I may suggest a book that is hard to read but helped me give some closure, is "The Shack".

I lost my wife two days ago. I know your pain to some extent. Know that he is in a better place and while you may not understand it, you will get through this. Prayers to you and yours.
