Default Driftboat painting?

Looking to clean up the driftboat inside and out with a fresh coat of paint. Was thinking zolotone with a clear coat inside, and unsure of the exterior. This is an aluminum boat. Any recomenmdations? Any painters out there? Thanks.

I have thought about painting the outside of my drifter as well but considering the roads I drive in the winter the paint would chip like the front of a car in no time. I know they make bras and such for travel but to me that is less time on the water. I think the inside a great idea though. not trying to talk you out of it just giving my .02 (get in touch with spooled he had his willie painted when he still had it,he could give you pros and cons).

I repainted mine several years back, buy a decent automotive primer and paint, the mistake I made was not clear coating over my new zolatone. I sprayed the zolatone with a pressure cup gun.
I am assuming your boat was painted before.

Yep. No clear coat on the inside. The paint is getting pretty worn out. Thanks for the advice.
