Default Salmon Fishing ....................

I have a fishing story to tell.....
A couple of weeks ago my husband and I went fishing, I fell alseep on the way...it was about 4 or 4:30 in the morning , he woke me up by telling that there was a coyote on the side of the rode. Didn't fase me, but did wake me up, we know that if we see an animal on the way to our fishing location, then we now were going to have a good fishing day. Alittle later, he saw a couple of deers, I was really starting to wake up then, about 5 minutes later we both saw this really big deer. We were excited  . We got to our fishing location, it was still dark, but raining and we made our way down. My husband gradded 2 different types of eggs, nates and ammermins. He tried ammermins and I tried nates.
Now remind you...I am learning how to bobber and egg fish on a levelwind. We fished the first hour and nothing, then a couple of older gentlemen came down, they caught a salmon, I would say about 9-11 pounds. Well 20 min. later my bobber went down, I thought I was snagged, nope, fish on...... , I landed a salmon that was about 32lbs. My biggest fish. Then 20 min. later my bobber went down again, my husband still had not caught anything yet, I handed my pole off to him, I have never handed my rods off to him, he landed a 29lb salmon. Later in the afternoon, He started catching the fish, I was running out of eggs. All in all it was a fun day regardless to the rain.

Great story, I always enjoy it when my wife comes fishing with me. She has even out-fished me.

I wished my wife fished also. I used to take her with me when I fished the upper Clack for summers. She wouldn't fish, but just enjoyed watching me. Have you ever had the pleasure of trying to explain to your wife the proper netting procedures while having a serious arguement with a red hot 14 lb summer? It doesn't get any better than that!!

I love fishing, doesn't matter what the weather is, that is why they make clothes for all weather.
I have netted a couple of fish. I enjoy fishing with my husband, he taught me everything I know about fishing. He is awesome at fishing.

I got a summer run wife story.

My wife did not want to fish this particular morning but came with my young son to just see what was going on. Well I cover this hole pretty well with no takers My wife then starts to dig through and old tackle pack that had fallen out of my vest. She chooses out this tiny little spoon for trolling for trout. I proceed to tell her that she will not be able to cast it and so on and so forth . Next thing you know she askes me for my rod  and tears apart my float rig and ties this micro monster on. I am just playing with my son when I hear a fish jump I look back and my wife yells "I got One!!!" To my disapointment she showed me up again this time with my own rod!!

Well I guess you could say that I am the luckiest guy arround, and you are right. Not too many people I know have wives that fish and can (on any given sunday) out fish them. She really is somethin, three and a half years ago she had never even caught a fish now, I really have to try to keep up w/her. It is even getting to the point that when she has to work and I am leaving to go you know where,,,,, that a misterious guilt trip arises!! Dear Lord............. I've created a monster!!!!

I took my wife salmon fishing for the first time in november. Her first cast the bobber dissapeared, I yelled jerk and she jerked it like a girl. The fish was hooked for a few seconds and the hook popped out. She missed a few more of those and then I had to start handing my rod over to her so she could fight some fish.

Now if I only could get him to take me out on one of my only weekends off. You gotta show her how to set the hook, she will learn. Just be patient with her, take her out fishing, or I'll show her.
