Unhappy In Memorium - Dan Grbavac

Many of us had the pleasure and honor of knowing Dan. It is with a heavy heart that I report he passed away several days ago. Folks have been remembering him in his last thread, here. But for those who missed that thread or would like to remember him, I've started this new thread which will be moved to the Casting Memories forum after some time has passed.

May his family and friends all find peace and comfort in their own families and remaining friends.

I sent a PM to Dans' ifish address and his son sent me a nice reply. I wish I could at least make the memorial, since we couldn't make the fisihing trip work.

All my prayers to Dans family.

Very sad. Hoping the family gets the peace that they will need.

I'm sick about this. Dan and I had PMed back and forth quite a bit about health issues, and he prayed me through an MRI of a "spot on my liver" that turned out to be benign. He had faith in the healing prayer power of his local Catholic church, and hoped to spend many more years fishing with the grandkids.
A fine man, gone home too soon.

I didn't know Dan but was uplifted by his optimism recently. God Bless him and his family.
