Default I-5 sturgeon holes?

Are there any good holes for sturgeon up by the I-5 bridge area?

Thanks,

I tried that once, but the cars kept running over my bait.

Yep, the truth is that I live closer to Yamhill than Gaston. Way out here in God's country.

I just had to razz my neighbor a little bit.

OH YAH ! there is some good spots down by the mouth of Willamette by termanel 6, find a shelf or a small drop off and soak some bait. Its just a matter of finding the fish. You can by the grain elevators WA. side right by train bridge sometimes theres fish in and around but its shaker-city. Just be careful where you anchor lots tugboat traffic. Another great way to find spots is just look for other gator dance partners waiting to hook up.

I've caught a few shakers by accident while pursuing the wily pikeminnow in front of the Red Lion on the OR side. Some of the shakers were real close to being keepers so I'd bet there's a few good fish in there. Lots of commercial traffic and a fair amount of current.
The sturgeon seem to really dig the nightcrawlers in there.
