fished the river trolling spinners as usual on turkey dy, caught and released 4 nookies and two chrome silvers, had 2 newbies on board so it was interesting. luckily my brother voluntered to go with and help me out, we landed all fish within 2 hours, but nothing to keep, kids had a blast and i think we made a new fisherperson yesterday, that was great. she made sure to let us know that the biggest fish she had ever caught was a crappie back east, the kids took turns with all fish with me and the brother taking turns with net and pliars.

What notellum river was this that you were on, or is this a zipper lip.

not a zipperlip river, but i think they are going home, last time we go for them. time to give up on some rivers, always more places to try, love them spinners

i hold no secrets like so many do. it was on yaquina river. i like to see everyone enjoy a lot of fun. but if all you catch is black please let them go so we have more oppurtunities in the future, no zipperllip here. have video cam.
