Put in at Cathedral Park northside of the St Johns Bridge. Go down stream to Kelly Point Park take a right on the Columbia T-6 is the docks on the right. Good Luck.

The above mentioned launch is free if you want to be a little closer to the fishing hole it will cost you $8 to put in at Fred's Marina. Head out on Highway 30 and you will see the signs for a boat launch a few miles past the St. Johns Bridge. Follow the signs and they take you to Fred's. (You could probably find Fred's in the phone book and get better directions)

If you launch here make sure you go on the outside of the navigation marker at the point where the Multnomah Channell and the Willamette meet up.

Zaq,
Maybe about two miles from Freds. I do it in a drifter,so it can't be that far.

It is only $5 to launch at Fred's. We fished on Turkey day and there was no current to speak of until about 1:30 when the tide started to come in. The bite was extremely light. :depressed:

If you want a free launch, you can use Swan Island or the Ferry Road ramp on Sauvie's. A little longer boat ride. Just don't cut the corner when you take a right onto the Columbia. Some schmuck did that in his yacht a while back and impaled it quite nicely on those pilings.
You can't miss T6. Look for the giant cranes.
