Astoria docks sturgeon fishing?

Has anyone fished off of the astoria docks for sturgeon before, I have seen people fish there before but never saw anyone catch anything. Is the sturgeon fishing any good down here around astoria right now? Trying to get some ideas for tommorow since it seems that its kind of slow right now for salmon or steelhead. Thanks.

I have,but it was a couple of years ago, it is not very good down there right now.The best fishing there is from April to June on pier 2 if there are no boats docked there at the time.
