I was there a couple 3 weeks ago, fished below the hatchery.
Was done by 11:00 am.
They were biting pink & pearl corky's w/ yarn.
There is a park up the road that is a good place to fish too. Weekends can be busy.

2 or 3 weeks ago the flows were much higher. It's barely a trickle right now. You might get lucky down low but there isn't much left swimming in there. The silvers that are left are on there last leg and the hatchery has closed the gates on them.

Need a few inches of rain to get the show on the road.

Was that last rain we got enough to get some fish in there or is it still kind of early? The water was up quit a bit. Whats the earliest anyone has caught a winter steelhead out of big creek or gnat creek? I was told that they release something like 40,000 winter steelhead smolts into gnat creek, anyone have any luck there?
