Default Any Good Crabbing?

What is the latest updates on coast crabbing. We wanted to do some this weekend but not sure where we should go. Anything happening from Pacific City north to the Columbia? Thanks for any information.
Also I think I heard something about Sea Trout any info on where, when, and how?

Hit buoys 20/22 before the commercial types do! Work the 30-35' line like Robin says.
Don't bother on the ebb tide- current's too strong. Low slack would be OK.

Rubber Robin- I think I saw you at the Warrenton ramp Sun about noon. You were heading in as I was heading out. Is your boat red with a black top? And you had 4 or 5 people in the boat? Just nosy.

This is second hand, but I had one of my patients telling me that they did really, really well on the Columbia around bouy 21. He said that while the pots were out they tried some sturgeon fishing and the crab were so thick that they kept taking the bait off the hooks.

He was there last weekend. Like I said, second hand info, good luck.

Oregon side - Mouth of the Columbia.
Put in at Warrenton by Tackle Time. Hammond is closed.
Go Between Buoy 22 & 20. Drop your pots in water of approx. 35'. Use shad or chicken or both.

Prepare to come home with limits of large keeper crabs full of meat!

We did last Sunday!
