Happy Thanksgiving to All i-fishers!!!! :smile: We have a lot to be thankful for in this Nation of our. It is so easy to complain ( I do this a lot) about things but we really do have it pretty good. Matter of fact, darn good. I cannot imagine living anywhere else.

It's been a tough year for me economically. Yet I find that all that really matters is my family that I love so much. I am also thankful that my dad is still around. He's my main fishing partner and it would have been tough to loose him. :smile:

I am also thankful for i-fish and the wealth of information and activism it provides. Thank you Jennie for all your hard work. I and I am sure others are thankful for it. Great Job. [img]graemlins/applause.gif[/img]

Since this needs to be fishing related to stay on this thread......I guess no one will be fishing on Friday so I can have the river to myself. Am I wrong? So what are ya doing this weekend to complement giving Thanks! :grin:

I also would like to wish all my ifish brothers and sisters and there families a very happy thanksgiving!!
Im thankful for this beautiful nation we live in. This is a very hard time of year for me as I no longer have my grandparents,which I was very close to, on both sides of my family so we no longer have family Thanksgiving dinner and get to see all the distant realitives. I also thank the good lord above to be able to have my 99 year old great grandmother still here and getting to enjoy yet another Thanksgiving.
Also would like to thank Bernie for starting this thread and wish you and your family a great holiday!

'Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep.

I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep.

The leftovers beckoned - the dark meat and white,

But I fought the temptation with all my might.

Tossing and turning with anticipation,

The thought of a snack became infatuation.

So I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door

And gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore.

I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,

Pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.

I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,

'Til all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.

I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky,

With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.

But, I managed to yell as I soared past the trees......
