Default David Johnson's Guide Post

David, Your post absolutely cracked me up. My wife ran me out of the kitchen and I am not allowed in the laundry room either.

At least our cats aren't white or she would really kick my butt

I could relate to that one myself. It is amazing how you think you are being so careful with cure and then when you go to whipe down the counters everything turns pink.

Dave I got a good laugh out of it though. heck they get over it. Not. I have ben exhiled outside ot the garage or outside if it is nice

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.

At least I still get half the freezer and a shelf of my own in the fridge for eggs, that's besides the two other freezers I own just for bait.

If you own a black lab, do whatever you want. If you own a yellow lab do not pat him on the head when he comes by tail wagging while you are curing eggs!

Crabbait, had a problem with my wife's cockapoo getting a small chunk of Double Neon Red Pro-Cure this summer. Her water dish was pink for the rest of the day. My wife was seeing red at me for awhile though. She warmed up as how her little 'precious' didn't show any side effects from the experience.

David, I showed my wife your pink dye post and she wasn't any more impressed with that than she was with the post where you bragged that your wife cleaned your boat after you fished for the day.

All she said was that I should find another wife to clean her boat as she wasn't going to do it anytime soon.

So David, your wife got a sister? Grant

My egg curing was banished to the garage many years ago. Your wife is much more involved in fishing. You blew it bud by not using care in her kitchen   . The cat?

Hehe - Purree'd some old eggs last night in the Kitchen. Good thing the wife was busy sewing. Almost burned the blender up. Those electrical things are just never the same after you let the smoke out of 'em! I didn't realize how thick and gooey it was going to be, kinda like egg butter (aughta hold on to bait REAL GOOD though!)
Oh ya- I think I got most of the little bright red spots off the blender, the counter, the floor etc. I'm not sure that spatula will EVER be the same though. :depressed:
The egg stink was pretty much gone this morning. She didn't even notice it!

Hmmm- This reminds me, I should do a poll to see how many guys have burned up their wives hair dryers drying out hip boots! Man- was she mad at that one! Wooohooo.. I heard about that for weeks, and that was AFTER I bought her a new one. I think that new one made it all the way to the next winter season too!
