Default Where to fish this weekend

My brother from las vegas might be coming into town this weekend and was wondering where might a good spot to go fishing from the bank, is it still early for any steelhead on big creek or gnat creek? Tillimook area is a possibility but not to familiar with that area, I don't need anyones zipperlip spot just a general area to go and fish from the bank with some chance of catching a fish. Thanks in advance and if you don't want to post it, feel free to e-mail me.

Without rain I don't think anything will be producing winters. Everything I know of is very low and clear exceoting the Columbia and Willamette. Go away el nino. :depressed:

Tidewater on a coastal stream is going to be the best bet for salmon and early winters. I think there is a thread about tidewater steelie fishing somewhere on this board if you're interested. Lots of luck.
